UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

The Universal studios logo is a very simplistic studio logo design. The word ‘universal’ is displayed across in bold print writing, which is In front of the image of the earth. The image of the earth signifies how grand this movie studio is and how big they are compared to any other movie studio company. The picture of the world also shows how world widely known they are. There is a great contrast of the colour blue with many different shades of it used all around. The background is simplistic as it is an image of the universe. The universal studios logo is so widely known as it is not too detailed but memorable.

METRO GOLDWYN MAYER

The Metro Goldwyn Mayer media company logo is a very iconic image in the film industry as it has been shown in many big budget movies. The logo carries a golden theme throughout showing just the prestige of the studio and how premium it is. The mascot of the studio is called ‘Leo the Lion’ and the image of the lion shows just the physical strength of the company and just how brave and bold the company is when making good ideas. The use of the back background makes the logo itself stand out more and emphasises that the company doesn’t need to add a fancy/colourful background to make their logo look more appealing.

20th Century Fox
The iconic 20th century fox studio logo is a very popular symbol in pop culture as many movies have been produced by this massive corporation. This Logo is widely recognised by its golden ‘20th century fox’ name and a vibrant background. It has a crisp and clean look, it isn’t too detailed to the point where it is harder to distinguish but it is not too simple. The studio logo will have slightly different versions of this logo for the different genres of movies which is the same for other studios.
